Launching Ahead of the 2026/27 Season
NextGen Academy is proud to announce the formation of Sevenoaks District Team, designed to bring together the very best young footballing talent from across the Sevenoaks district.
Set to kick off at the start of the 2026/27 season (September 2026), the Sevenoaks District Teams will provide a pathway for standout players, competing weekly in the highly regarded Tandridge League.
Selection for the squad will take place through a series of trials, beginning with informal assessment opportunities throughout March. All schools across the Sevenoaks District have been invited to nominate their outstanding players, ensuring that the programme captures the full breadth of footballing talent within the area. A selection of academy players will also be invited to trial, reflecting NextGen Academy’s commitment to raising standards and creating a competitive, aspirational environment.
In addition, during this period, players can sign up to attend midweek NextGen Academy training sessions on a pay-as-you-go basis, giving talented individuals the chance to showcase their ability in a high-performance environment. Successful players from these sessions will then be invited to attend the formal District Team trials in April, hosted at Knole Academy.
With experienced coaches, and a clear development pathway, the Sevenoaks District Team represents an exciting new chapter for football in the district offering ambitious players the opportunity to test themselves, develop, and compete at the highest local level.
The formal trials will be held on the below dates with a deadline for registering by Monday 13 April 2026.

Players must fundamentally demonstrate a love of football as well as an intrigue to learn and improve. We ask all players attend a taster session before committing to membership.

Join us for action-packed days filled with excitement and skill-building opportunities. Courses involve technical training in the morning, team building and shooting games after break, tournaments in the afternoon with penatly shoot outs and prize giving to finish.
